About Our School

Our History

Caribbean School was founded in October 1954 to meet the need for a quality English-speaking educational institution in the area of Ponce. It was first established at the United Evangelical Church of Puerto Rico. In 1956 the school was moved to a farm house property belonging to the Catholic University. By 1971, it began its operations at its present location in La Rambla.

After more than fifty years, Caribbean School has been able to maintain its philosophy and mission of providing a strong academic program and co-curricular activities. The Caribbean School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (PK-12) and The Department of Education of Puerto Rico (K-12).

Academic excellence and Caribbean School are synonymous.
